The Founders’ Vision
I started the Black Female Apprentice Network as a place where Black Women with a similar future career in mind could connect in one community where we can all grow and support each other.
Multiple insight events i've attended which is finance, law and engineering, the first thing i notice is that the ratio of male to female is roughly about 5:2 each time and i feel like women don't get as much of recognition in these stem careers.
The Black Female Apprentice Network was created to bridge that gap. Beyond community and connection, the network offers a range of practical resources, including CV templates, application trackers, and access to mentors across various career fields. Members can also benefit from career advice, developmental guidance, and exclusive networking events designed to inspire growth and enhance professional readiness.
Ultimately, this network exists to ensure that Black women have the support, visibility, and opportunities they deserve as they pursue their career goals. Together, we are building a future where representation and recognition are the norm, not the exception.
